After years of economic downturn and uncertainty we at The Ascher Group are cautiously optimistic that the future will continue to be bright for the labor market. There are still challenges to be faced, obstacles to overcome, and uncertainties to ponder, but all this makes for an exciting and rewarding future in the booming contract employment industry.
This first decade of the 21st century will see workers from the generation known as the Baby Boomers begin to reach retirement age. With 72-million Baby Boomers and less than 20 million younger workers coming up behind them, employers are going to have to learn to adapt to more gray hair in the workplace. Not only do these aging workers have the experience and vitality to get the job done, employers will need them.
Companies will also continue to streamline and consolidate to maintain a competitive edge. The major corporations of today are seeing increased competition as medium and venture companies continue to grow and reinvent their markets. While some may view this as a threat, we at The Ascher Group welcome these opportunities to embrace change and grow.
Contract employment may change, it may evolve, but it will most definitely continue to meet the needs of a proactive corporate America. It is exciting to be part of a process that is bringing the American workplace to a higher level.

Susan
